With "Batman Vs. Superman" filming underway, new details have reportedly surfaced about what Ben Affleck's "Batmobile" will look like.
It looks like Affleck's Batman might be into Cadillacs and the car won't look anything like The Tumbler, according to Batman-On-Film.com. Check out the rumored details the site offered about the Batmobile:
"The Batmobile is currently being designed and built by General Motors at the GM Advanced Design Studio in North Hollywood. This is the same team who most recently designed and built the vehicles for TRANSFORMERS 4 with Michael Bay - who was very hands-on and involved in the design/building process for the new Bumblebee Camaro. Anyway, back to the new Batmobile...It will definitely NOT have a military look like The Tumbler from [Chris] Nolan's 'Dark Knight Trilogy.'
"As of about four weeks ago, it was still "pictures on the wall" - meaning nothing had actually been built yet. An "old Cadillac" will feature prominently in the film. When I remarked to my source that the Cadillac Sixteen concept car from a few years back looked a lot like a Batmobile, he stayed mum."
It will be pretty interesting to see the film's director Zack Snyder's interpretation of Batman. Recently the production crew headed to East Los Angeles College's Weingart Stadium to film a Gotham City University vs. Metropolis State University football game.
Check out Batman News' description of the football scene:
"It started with Warner Bros. telling the crowd that they were going to be in 'Batman vs. Superman.' Yes, a Warner Bros. representative referred to the movie as 'Batman vs. Superman.' That's still not the official title, but it's one that keeps coming up. Warner Bros. also announced that this marked the beginning of the movie. Then two scenes were filmed.
"Both plays were from around Gotham city's 30 yard line. The first play was a tackle for a Metropolis loss. The second was for a touchdown pass to the corner of the end zone for Metropolis. Then the bench cleared for Gotham and they had to break up a fight on the field. Gotham never even went on offense. Zack Synder was directing, he was on the megaphone calling the plays and cuts." "Batman Vs. Superman" is set to begin filming on February 2014. The film will be released on July 17, 2015.
