Kanye West referred to Kim Kardashian as his fianceé for the first time in a song he dedicated to her at a concert in California Tuesday night.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's show stopping engagement is still making headlines and the couple can't help but gush about how happy they are to be together. The rapper dedicated a song to Kardashian at his concert in California Tuesday night referring to her as his fiancé for the first time. The song was "Bound 2", which is reportedly about the pair's relationship.
"You know what song this is, right?" the rapper announced as the show started. "I want to sing this song to the birthday girl that's back there right now, my fiancée."
He then went on to tell the audience how he feels his relationship with Kardashian has given him a second chance in life and recalls the incident when he could have lost it all earlier in his career.
Kardashian, who was spotted in the crowd with her mom, was all smiles when West went on about their relationship and made no secret of how special she was to him.
"If you came with somebody that you love tonight, hold on so tight," he said. "What I'm trying to say is it's hard to find you.
The proposal couldn't have been more romantic. Firstly, it was planned as a gift for the actress's 33rd birthday. West rented the stadium that's home to the San Francisco Giants, hired a 50-piece orchestra, and paid for fireworks to illuminate the San Francisco sky.
It wasn't long before Kardashian's family members took to Twitter to announce the great news.
"Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?!" Kardashian's sister Khloé Kardashian Odom tweeted. "Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!"
Kardashian's mom Kris told E! News: "I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye. A match made in heaven."
