Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their newborn son and he shall forever be known as Saint West.
Kardashian and West made the formal announcement on the reality star's website, giving his name and birth weight - 8 pounds, 1 ounce. The short post also included four emojis of the Kardashian-West family.
The reality star announced the birth on Dec. 5 on her website with a photo of her and West's hand held together.
"KANYE AND I WELCOME OUR BABY BOY!" she titled the post on Saturday. "Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. Mother and son are doing well."
Saint joins his big sister, 2-year-old North West.
In the final days of her pregnancy, Kardashian had a scare when her son became breeched and had to undergo a painful surgery called ECV (External Cephalic Version) to turn him around. She also suffered from the flu and a sinus infection during the last month.
Kardashian spoke about having a third child on a recent episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," while still pregnant with her unborn son. Her plans for another baby could be compromised by her existing condition of placenta accrete, a pregnancy condition that already made it difficult for her to get pregnant the second time.
