The amount of television will grow ever higher in 2016 between new shows premiering on broadcast, cable and streaming services. Plus, look forward to returning favorites with all-new seasons in the New Year.
Broadcast alone will premiere at least 18 new shows at midseason, including Fox's reboot of "The X-Files." Netflix and Amazon haven't even released the premiere dates for most of their new and returning shows.
In 2016, TV fans will say goodbye to longtime favorites such as "Theth Mythbusters" on Discovery and VH1's "Mob Wives" while Fox celebrates the farewell season of "American Idol."
