2. Keep Doors On the Hinge
When people paint doors, they usually take it off the hinges. Instead of taking on the immense task of taking the door off its hinge, just put tape over the hinges and paint over it. Once the paint dries, just peel the tape off and there you have it, a freshly painted door.
3. Vanilla Kills Odors
Not a lot of people are thrilled with the smell of paint. To make your paint a lot friendlier to your nostrils, put a few drops of pure vanilla extract in it and mix thoroughly. The extract effectively neutralizes the strong odors of the paint, reports Lighter Side of Real Estate.
4. Paint Brushes and Fabric Conditioners
