The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 5 Spoilers: Does Damon Team Up with Silas?; The Immortal Wants Something from Stefan's Brother

It seems Damon always has a plan for the various problems he and his friends face.

However, he’s proven he’s no Klaus when it comes to devising schemes.

According to a sneak peek from this Thursday’s episode, Damon has another shaky idea—team up with Silas.

In last week’s episode, Jeremy admitted to Damon that Bonnie is dead. Aftewards, everyone found out they had a nice little funeral and Tyler returned in a very dramatic moment.

This week, Damon wants to bring Bonnie back to life and he feels working with Silas is the way to accomplish this.

Damon’s idea is that if Silas wants to die and reunite with the love of his life, maybe they can use that to bring Bonnie back.

(Damon must be trying to recreated the scenario that killed Bonnie in the first place—a life for a life.)

Silas seems to be willing to work with the eldest Salvatore. However, he needs something from Damon:

“I want you to kill your brother.”

Although Damon wants to bring Bonnie back, I’m guessing he won’t agree to Silas’ terms. Besides I’m not sure he knows where Stefan is since he left last episode.

The preview also showed the creepy Dr. Maxfield and the newly vamped Jesse. The Whitmore professor wasn’t very likeably before. Now that he’s turning random people into vampires for his own weird purposes, I’m even less of a fan. Hopefully Caroline can help Jesse be a good vampire and not a killing machine.

“The Vampire Diaries” airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.
