Carrie Fisher is best known for her ironic role as Princess Leia in the original "Star Wars" series, but now the people of Los Angeles may know her as more of a saleswoman. The star of the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film joined talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on a street corner in Los Angeles to try and get people excited for the new film, all while wearing the famous Princess Leia buns.
Before Fisher sat down with DeGeneres for an interview, the two hit the streets to try and get people excited for the movie.
"We had signs and we wanted to see how many people we could get to give tickets to the opening night of 'Star Wars,'" DeGeneres explained. "This was just this afternoon."
"'Star Wars' for charity," Fisher yelled to passing cars. "Carrie Fisher and stupid hair - again!"
The twosome finally got someone to pull over, but she sadly did not have any cash on her to buy the tickets Fisher and DeGeneres were selling. The host instead asked the lady "What do you have in your trunk?"
DeGeneres and Fisher got a couple more people to pull over, but one woman did not recognize the actress.
"Do you love me also?" Fisher asked.
"Uh, I don't know you yet," the woman admitted.
"I'm Princess Leia!" Fisher explained.
"Oh!" the woman said. "Now I know!"
Fisher also encountered a "Star Wars" superfan who was just roaming the streets with a lightsaber in hand. In order to get the tickets to the opening night of the film, DeGeneres and Fisher asked him to do a handstand and sing the Star Wars theme song.
"Force be with you!" he told Fisher before running off with his tickets.
