The Seattle Seahawks visit the St. Louis Rams for Monday Night Football. Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE (SEA) and HERE (STL), or watch the live stream HERE.
St. Louis's season took a hit last week with the season-ending injury to quarterback Sam Bradford. With Bradford lost for the season due to a torn ACL, the Rams will look to Kellen Clemens to bring the team back to .500.
"Somebody's got to play," Clemens said, via ESPN. "So I'll go out there and do the best job I can and try to help this team win some games."
Monday marks Clemen's 13th career start. Clemens, 30, was drafted in the second round of the 2006 draft by the New York Jets. Since entering the league, Clemens has played in just 31 games, completing 62.2 percent of his passes for 2,290 yards, seven touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
While the Rams' season looks dismal, the Seahawks sit atop the NFC West with a 6-1 record and 1/2 game lead over San Francisco. Seattle's defense ranks second in total yards allowed (282.1 per game), and its offense ranks fourth in scoring (27.3 points per game), ESPN reports.
"I feel like we are still growing," Seahawks coach Pete Carrol said. "We are still a very young team and it feels that way. We have enough firepower in a lot of areas to overcome the things that are going in the wrong direction but we are playing good, solid football."
Seattle will have even more firepower with the eventual return of receiver Percy Harvin, who underwent hip surgery in August. Harvin practiced for the first time on Tuesday, although Carroll ruled out the receiver for Monday night.
"It's all day-to-day," said Harvin. "I want to play as soon as possible, but we all want to be smart in this thing. We put a plan together and we're just going to take it day by day and see how it feels."
