Netflix has announced the premiere date of "Fuller House," the continuation of the popular ABC TV series that ran from 1987-1995. The 13-episdoe season will be made available for streaming on Feb. 26, 2016.
The show will center of veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) who is recently widowed and living in San Francisco. Fans of the original will remember that she is Danny's eldest daughter.
D.J.'s younger sister Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) is now an aspiring musical artist and her childhood best friend and fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Andre Barber) is attempting to raise her rambunctious teenage daughter Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas). All three move in to help take care of D.J.'s three sons: defiant 12-year-old Jackson (Michael Champion), anxious 7-year-old Max (Elias Harger) and newborn baby, Tommy Jr.
Original cast members such as John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), Lori Loughlin (Becky Kastopolis) and Scott Weinger (Steve Hale) will are all making guest appearances. Stamos is also credited as a producer along with Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller and Jeff Franklin.
It will be interesting to see what new adventures the show has in store for its well-known and beloved characters.
