Abby couldn't be more excited to introduce her heretofore unseen brother, Luca, to her colleague and friend, Tony, but the NCIS agent has to make things awkward when he places Luca under arrest.
So begins the action-packed promo for the "NCIS" and "NCIS: New Orleans" two-hour crossover event, set to air on January 5. Tyler Ritter will make his debut in the first hour as Abby's brother, Luca Sciuto, who "NCIS" has only mentioned by name but never shown on screen.
The special episode, titled "Sister City," starts when the passengers and crew on a private plane traveling between New Orleans and Washington D.C. are lethally poisoned, and suspicion falls on the missing chef, which is Luca. Gibbs' team in DC will work in conjunction with Pride's squad in New Orleans to determine why a private tech company was targeted.

In the second hour, Abby will get a forensics assist from NOLA lab tech, Sebastian and Bishop takes an overnight road trip to The Big Easy to deliver a package and work the case with the New Orleans team.
Rob Kerkovich, who plays Sebastian on "NCIS: New Orleans," snapped a pic with his fellow forensic tech, Pauley Perrette, while filming the crossover. Emily Wickersham and Zoe McLellan also joked about starting a band called, "The Bro-ships," mashing together their character names, Brody and Bishop.
