Weather has been the overriding story of the India-Australia ODI series. Rain washed out the fourth and fifth ODIs, although CricBuzz reports the clubs are expecting clear skies on Wednesday.
Australia leads the best-of-seven series, 2-1. With the series' end on the horizon, India is keen to even the series and make the seventh ODI relevant. India needs a better performance from their bowlers, who've struggled to restrict Australia's runs throughout the series.
"It's definitely challenging in terms of what the batsmen are doing. They are going for their shots. They are playing high risk shots; the credit needs to be given," Ravichandran Ashwin said, via CricBuzz. "But as I said we keep trying to devise different strategies and see what we can do."
Australia, meanwhile, can clinch the series with a win on Wednesday.
"It's important to get our match-ups right. When we are bowling against their batsmen, we have got our match-ups right," said Australia all-rounder Shane Watson. "Mitch Johnson certainly provides a big x-factor for us."
