Jerry Seinfeld will host well-known comedians Will Ferrell and Steve Martin on the new season of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," but his most surprising guest this season (and possibly the entire series) will be President of the United States, Barack Obama.
Obama's episode will kick off the seventh season of Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," premiering on Wednesday, Dec. 30 on Crackle. The appearance by the president comes on the heels of his "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" episode, which NBC aired earlier this month.
The trailer for season seven ends with Seinfeld pulling up to the front of the White House and calling for the president, not realizing he has Obama's direct line. The president is the first politician and non-comedian or actor to appear on the Crackle web series.
In addition to Ferrell and Martin, Seinfeld will also welcome Garry Shandling, Kathleen Madigan and Sebastian Maniscalo. The promo also shows Seinfeld's car breaking down during his interview with Martin, a problem he also ran into while filming his episode with Amy Schumer in season five.
"Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" premieres on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 11:30 p.m. on Crackle.
