Goats singing Christmas carols. Now there's something you've probably never heard before. And not just one carol, but a whole album full, eight to be exact. Eight of the classics, in a beautiful album called "All I want for Christmas is a Goat," and we have them right here for you to enjoy. It's almost like a train wreck, you are hearing the goats blatting away, yet can't bear to stop listening. Maybe that is why they did a whole album full for us, says Digg. There is something oddly sweet that finds you tapping your toes, then lip syncing along with the goats, and then just singing along like it's your grade school Christmas concert.
The album was together by the awesome folks at Sweden's ActionAid, a non-profit international charity that works for global justice and sustainable development.
So someone at ActionAid had the brilliant idea that goats can sing? Musical genius? Or quirky silliness? We vote for both. This is something you have never heard before, we promise. And we double dog dare you not to listen to both selections we have chosen from the album just for you. You know you are rooting for the goats to hit the high notes in "O Come All Ye Faithful" and we dare you not to sing along to "Jingle Bells."
We are not sure why we find it so funny, like Above Top Secret says, but it could be the uniqueness of the project, the perfectly timed musical ingenuity of bringing in the goars or are we jealous we didn't think of it first.
Either way, speakers on people, you don't want to miss this!
