It's very hard to keep up with the Kardashian's fans. There was such a high demand for Kim Kardashian's new Kimoji app that it nearly broke Apple's app store Monday.
"Apple, I'm so sorry I broke your App Store!!!" Kardashain tweeted. "I can't believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store! We worked so hard on this app & we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!"
While the reality TV star claimed that the high demand for her app crashed the Apple site, the system status page showed no reported App store issue, a source told the New York Daily News. While the app did slow the site down, the Apple tech team had everything under control so the site did not fully crash, TMZ noted.
The Kimoji app features 250-plus emoji's that all have to do with Kardashain. Some of the kimoji's include her infamous crying face, a selfie pose and a pregnant Kardashian. While the app may not have fully crashed the Apple store, the Kimoji app was still in high demand. At one point, more than 9,000 people were downloading the app per second. The app costs $1.99, which meant that the mother of two was grossing about $1 million per minute, according to the New York Post.
Even Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner got in on the hysteria when she tweeted, "I think the Apple App Store is overwhelmed but hang in there it's worth is!!!!!!!!!"
