Teresa Giudice Primped In Prison Bathroom Before Her Release

Teresa Giudice made sure she looked great for her release from prison on Wednesday. The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star took some time to give herself a makeover in the ladies room at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., where she served an 11-month prison sentence, People reported.

"She took a little while to come out so it looked like she took some time to get herself together," a source told People.

Giudice was released at 5:01 a.m. Wednesday morning, and she didn't leave the building until about 5:30, according to sources. She did her hair and makeup and changed into an all-black outfit that was brought to her by her lawyer, James Leonard.

"She wanted to make sure she looked good when she came out," the source said.

The 43-year-old reality TV star was originally sentenced to 15 months in prison on fraud charges, but she only ended up serving 11, as HNGN previously reported. Her husband Joe Giudice is expected to begin his 41-month sentence for the same charges in March.

Giudice was released just in time for Christmas and will spend the holidays with her family instead of reporting to a halfway house. The couple's four daughters, 14-year-old Gia, 11-year-old Gabriella, 10-year-old Milania, and 6-year-old Audriana, were so excited to be reunited with their mother.

"It was very emotional," Leonard told reporters of the reunion, E! News reported. "It was a private moment but it was very emotional, very powerful and it was something to see."
