Last night’s episode of “The Tomorrow People” featured the latest backstory for one of our main characters, John. We now know he has the rare ability to kill and that Jedekiah is like a father to him.
Next up on the list is Russell and, according to EOnline, his backstory is worse than his two previously mentioned compadres.
"Russell's alluded to problems with the law,” said Berlanti.
“We get his backstory with his family,” explains the EP. “It starts there with his family and his relationship with them and how his powers can to express themselves."
Berlanti adds Russell’s backstory reveal, which comes in episode No. 6, will focus on his specialty in telekinesis.
In addition to discussing Russell, Berlanti also tells the website there are answers coming for Jedekiah and Marla’s (Stephen’s mom) storylines.
So far the “Tomorrow People” is moving at a steady pace. It seems they are trying to introduce you to all of their characters before they really move ahead with the story. The biggest mystery continues to lie with Stephen’s father Roger. He most likely teleported out of the car explosion Jedekiah told Stephen his father died in. So where is Stephen’s dad now? Hopefully, Jedekiah’s backstory will provide some of the answers we seek.
