Nashville Season 2: Juliette and Carter Are a Bad Fit; An Analysis of The Relationships So Far

Last night’s episode of "Nashville" was filled with a bunch of relationship drama so I decided to take three of the relationships and put them into three categories:

No. 1—The Relationship to Root For—Deacon and Megan

They’re adorable together. In my opinion Deacon needs to leave Rayna alone. They were happy at one point but I don’t see that turning into a healthy relationship going forward. As of right now the chemistry between Deacon and Megan isn’t overwhelming but I’m enjoying watching them together. Are you Team Rayna or Team Megan?

No. 2—The Relationship to Root Against—Juliette and Carter

We can begin with the adultery which definitely isn’t cool. Still, there are other reasons I don’t like this relationship. I really want someone for Juliet especially since she doesn’t really have much in the relationship department. However, a relationship with a prominent married man just screams problems. It seemed there could have been something between Avery and Juliet but of course she messed that up. It may be time for the producers and writers to introduce someone for Juliet that doesn’t cause too much problems.

No. 3—Relationship I Don’t Really Care About—Rayna and Luke

This relationship is nice but I think it will run its course and be over. (Yes, I realize you could say the same thing about Deacon and Megan.) I will admit, it is nice to see Rayna with someone for right now.

What relationships are your favorites so far? Is there any you think should be on this list? Share your thoughts in the comment sections below.

“Nashville” airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
