Relationship potential is stirring up on “The Vampire Diaries” and it is definitely stirring up on its spin-off “The Originals”. Here are the three relationships that need to happen in the near future:
--Hayley and Elijah
There have to be many “The Originals” fans who are still swooning over the scene between Elijah and Hayley near the end of Tuesday’s episode. I know it ended in a slap to the face but even that was adorable. Did anyone else find it funny that Rebekah was confused at why Elijah was more happy to see Hayley than his own sister?
--Klaus and Cami*
The reason why there’s a star on this one is because I only want these two together if Klaus and Caroline can’t be together. If “Klaroline” isn’t happening, then Klaus needs to stop compelling Cami and fall in love with her. There’s an innocence to Cami that could benefit Klaus. So far, Klaus has opened himself up to Cami. It’s possible that part of the reason he’s compelling Cami and then telling her he’s a vampire is so he can be honest with her and use her against Marcel at the same time. Do you want to see Klaus with Caroline? Or should he be with Cami and put any potential relationship with Caroline to rest?
--Marcel and Rebekah
Honestly, out of all the people Rebekah has been with, Marcel may be the best person for her. (And we know Rebekah has been in love with A LOT of guys.) There’s a connection and history between them that fans are still curious about and hopefully we get some answers. Nevertheless, they should be together.
