Kylie Jenner is no stranger to engagement rumors with her boyfriend Tyga, and even though the two have been going through a rough patch in their relationship recently, there was nothing but love in the air for the couple during the holidays, and Kylie may have the rock to prove it.
The 18-year-old reality star posted a photo of a gorgeous, and humongous, diamond ring to Instagram and Twitter on Christmas Day. "Merry Christmas," she wrote with a heart on Twitter. She then posted a different photo of the flawless diamond in a Range Rover with a Santa Claus emoji as the caption.
While the ring does look like an engagement ring, it is on her right hand, so it's very unlikely that Kylie and Tyga are engaged. It's also unclear if the ring is even a gift from the 26-year-old rapper, or if Kylie bought herself the impressive piece of jewelry, but the two, who have been sparking breakup rumors lately, definitely proved they are still together at Kris Jenner's Christmas Eve party the night before.
Kylie posted a photo of her and Tyga about to lock lips at the party, shutting down all of their breakup rumors and looking extremely happy together. Tyga had been away touring in Europe, so the two hadn't spent much time together, but they reunited publicly on Dec. 23 when they attended a Justine Skye and Harry Hudson concert at The Roxy together.
"They seemed happy, really happy," a source told Hollywood Life. "Tyga had much more confidence than usual knowing Kylie was there on his arms and supporting him. He had this air about him and he walked around the club like he owned it. Kylie makes him feel like that guy and he definitely showed that."
The only strange thing is that Kylie actually deleted the picture of the two shortly after she posted it, but this is apparently only to keep her fans guessing. "She knows that her popularity is gauged by people talking about her relationship with Tyga," another source told Hollywood Life. "If she starts showing that everything is okay...how boring is that?! As much as their relationship is a relationship, business is also business."
Sources close to the couple explained last week that since things were a little rocky between the two, they were banking on Christmas to prove their love to each other, so maybe this is what the ring was all about, as HNGN previously reported. "Though it is materialistic they are using Christmas and what they get from each other as a bar to see if the relationship will continue," the source said at the time. "They both want something from each other that proves their love for each other."
