CNN Anchor Poppy Harlow passed out during a live broadcast on Monday morning while reporting on the fight against ISIS militants.
Harlow, who was not on camera at the time since a graphic was covering the screen, began to slur her words before she fainted, but you could hear her shocked co-workers responding as she stopped talking.
She later returned to the screen to explain what had happened during the scary moment. "And to all of you on Twitter asking if I'm OK, thank you so much," she said to the camera. "I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment, but I am fine. We're going to take a quick break, we'll be right back."
"Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok!" she tweeted following the incident. "Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team."
Harlow, who is about six months pregnant, then updated her fans on her baby's condition as well. "Update from the hospital-our little girl due this spring is doing just fine," she later added. "Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much."
This will be the first child for Harlow and her husband Sinisa Babcic, who only started to let their colleagues in on the good news last month. "We could not be more thrilled to have a little girl on the way," she told TVNewser at the time. "We feel blessed and are excited for the adventure ahead."
