Amazon has announced Kindle First, a new feature to its Kindle e-book that allows users to access an array of popular eBooks and lets you select one new book each month ahead of its official release.
Kindle readers are in for a huge treat. Time to quench your thirst for the most awaited titles much ahead of their official release with the new Amazon Kindle First. The latest feature announced Friday surprisingly lets users access an array of new eBooks every month, thirty days prior to its official release date.
Kindle First is also a benefiting feature for its Prime members. While customers will be asked to pay $1.99 to choose and read one of the featured books in advance, Prime members will have this option for free. But the option is limited for only one book a month, so you can get 12 books a year, a month ahead its official release.
"Prime just keeps getting better for our members, and any customer will find something interesting in our Kindle First picks," Russ Grandinetti, Vice President of Kindle Content, said in a press release. "We also love that these amazing books by Amazon Publishing authors will get a chance to reach a much wider audience."
The titles are selected by Amazon's Publishing editors and include some background about the books and their authors. The online retailer also listed its first set of Kindle First books.
- Things We Set on Fireby Deborah Reed
- No Place for a Dameby Connie Brockway
- Silent Echoby J. R. Rain
- We Will Survive: True Stories of Encouragement, Inspiration, and the Power of Songby Gloria Gaynor
The listed titles will be published December, but Kindle readers can get their hands on them right away.
