Just last week, rumors began to fly that Rob Kardashian, who has remained out of the spotlight for about a year now after gaining over 100 pounds, had gone off the rails again. His family has also been extremely worried about his current health situation, as HNGN previously reported. Apparently, the reality star is depressed again and still struggling with his weight, and new reports claim he has now had quite the shocking health scare.
This past weekend, the 28-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star wasn't feeling so well and as his condition worsened, his family became alarmed enough to rush him to an L.A. hospital, according to TMZ. Once he was at the hospital, the doctors performed tests and he was diagnosed with diabetes.
The diagnosis came as a shock to the reality star because he had no idea he was diabetic. Sources close to the family say this was a wake up call for him and that he wants to start the new year off on a healthy note.
As of Tuesday afternoon, it has been confirmed that Kardashian is back at home following his hospitalization. "He's home already," a source confirmed to E! News. "He went for a little and is fine now. It was a wake up call."
The source also added that the tests revealed his blood sugar levels were very high and doctors said he needs to lose weight, start to exercise and dramatically change his diet. If he can't make these lifestyle changes, things will only get worse.
