Taylor Swift has topped Dosomething.org's annual Celebs Gone Good list for the fourth year in a row. The 26-year-old singer's generosity in 2015 landed her back on the top spot of the website's eighth annual list that recognizes celebrities who have used their star power and money for positive social change.
Earlier this year, Swift donated $50,000 to a young girl who had to miss on of Swift's shows because she had to undergo treatment for her leukemia. Swift also donated $50,000 to the Seattle Symphony, another $50,000 to the nephew of one of her backup dancers who is fighting cancer and even donated 25,000 books to a classroom in New York City, according to Us Weekly.
In second place is Miley Cyrus, who launched her Happy Hippie Foundations earlier this year. The Happy Hippie Foundation helps out homeless youth, LGBTQ youths and other vulnerable populations. Coming in at third place was Beyonce, who helped support Baltimore protestors and Angelina Jolie in fourth. Jolie earned her spot for her work with Syrian refugees and even received a special mention. Rounding out the top five was WWE star-turned-actor John Cena, who broke the all-time record for whishes granted for the Make-A-Wish foundation with 460 in total.
Making the list for the first time was "Trainwreck" star Amy Schumer and reality TV star and transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner. After a man shot up a movie theatre playing Schumer's film, the comedian started promoting safer gun-control laws. She also supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and over $176,000 through her "Trainwreck Comedy Tour," according to the Daily Mail. Jenner was recognized for raising awareness to trans issues after she transitioned from a man to a woman earlier this year.
