Bar Refaeli had big news to share on New Year's Eve - she is pregnant! The 30-year-old Israeli supermodel is expecting her first child with husband Adi Ezra, who she married in September 2015.
Rafaeli, who has modeled in campaigns for brands ranging from Chanel and Escada to Reebok and Gap, shared the news in two adorable Instagram posts on New Year's Eve. The first was a video montage filled with photos from her nuptials in Haifa, Israel. She captioned the post, "2015 was like... #weddingbells".
Her next post was a photo of a positive pregnancy test.
"2016 is going to be like..," she wrote alongside a baby and baby bottle emoji, adding, "Happy & Healthy New Year!"
Refaeli and Ezra, the heir to Israeli food importing company Neto ME Holdings, tied the knot in a traditional Jewish ceremony held in Israel. The outdoor ceremony and reception took place at the Carmel Forest Spa with 300 close friends and family members in attendance. The lovebirds got engaged in March after dating for more than a year, Us Weekly confirmed.
During an interview with Hello! Fashion Monthly in July, Rafaeli, who previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio from 2005 to 2009, opened up about her hopes for settling down and having children.
“I think this will be a decade of family. … I come from a family of four children,” she told the magazine. “A lot of [moms] could read this and think, ‘Yeah, try having one first.’ Hopefully, I’ll have a big family, but I’ll take it one by one.”
