Sinead O'Connor isn't the only one writing open letters. Miley Cyrus is the one reportedly spilling her feelings to her ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth in a love letter. According to The Sun, Cyrus wants Hemsworth back and decided to pen him an open letter in hopes he will give her another chance.
A source told the newspaper that Cyrus is hoping the letter could give her some closure after their breakup and possibly a reunion. In the letter she reportedly apologized to the "Hunger Games" actor for driving a wedge between them with her erratic and overly sexual behavior.
It was rumored that one of the reasons for the split was because of Cyrus' behavior and antics.
"She thought about writing some songs, but then decided why not write a letter to Liam to tell him exactly how she feels. Miley admitted to Liam she has pushed him away and said sorry for acting so mad," a source told the newspaper. "Miley says in her letter she still loves Liam deeply and has asked him to meet up. It could be for closure or it could be to start again, but she just wants to see him and talk things through."
The 20-year-old "Wrecking Ball" singer and Hemsworth split in September after months of speculation that the relationship was on the rocks. Recently during an appearance on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" Cyrus briefly addressed the split telling DeGeneres that she was choosing not to focus on the split.
"I really believe that when a chapter's done you have to close it and start that new one, and that's kind of where I am right now," she said. "I have so much to be thankful for that my energy hasn't really been focused on that."
"I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been - and that's not even a dig - I'm just really genuinely happy with myself and I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are."
She also revealed that her new album "Bangerz" tells the story of the end of her relationship with the actor but she didn't realize it until after she listened to the completed version.
