*NSYNC first brought doll versions of themselves to life in the music video for "It's Gonna Be Me," and now, 16 years later, Fall Out Boy and Demi Lovato have done the same thing. The band and pop star dropped a new music video for their song "Irresistible" in which they spoof the classic music video.
Fall Out Boy and Lovato teamed up with director Wayne Isham, who also directed the video for "It's Gonna Be Me," according to E! News. In the new video, Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump and the rest of the group are dolls at a toy store who come to life and are discovered by Lovato. The video also features a couple of surprise guests from none other than former *NSYNC members Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick.
"What if, in the NSYNC video for 'It's Gonna Be Me,' there was an analog to the story?" the description for the video asks. "Where in the same store there was a dollar bin full of toys that no one really wanted that would band together like the misfit, offbrand little outsiders they were. 'Irresistible' is the video for that story, it's about the toys no one ever wanted come to life."
