Jim Carrey has kept a pretty low profile ever since his girlfriend Cathriona White was found dead in September, but he's set to make his first public appearance this upcoming weekend.
The two-time Golden Globe winner is scheduled to present at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday Jan. 10, according to Entertainment Weekly. The 53-year-old actor will be joining the other presenters announced during the first round by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Tuesday, which includes Amy Adams, Jamie Foxx, Amber Heard, Kate Hudson, Julianne Moore, Jaimie Alexander, Patricia Arquette, Bryce Dallas Howard, Helen Mirren, Eddie Redmayne, Kurt Russell, J.K. Simmons, Channing Tatum, Olivia Wilde and Mel Gibson.
White, 28, was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Sept. 28 with a suicide note addressed to Carrey and pills next to her body, as HNGN previously reported. The two, who were involved in an on-again-off-again relationship, had apparently broken up just days before she passed, as she addressed in the letter.
"I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona," Carrey said in a statement at the time. "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."
