Another achievement for one of the members of the royal family has been accomplished, as the young Prince George attended his first day of nursery school on Wednesday. Parents Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge chose Westacre Montessori School Nursery which is near Anmer Hall, their home in Norfolk, which was previously reported by HNGN.
Prince George's photos were taken by the Duchess, showing him in front of his school wearing a dark blue jacket with a light blue backpack strapped on his back, according to ABC News. Kensington Palace posted a photo of the young royal on Instagram.
"Prince George arrives for his first day at Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk today. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released two photographs to mark the occasion. They show Prince George standing in front of the mural on the outside of the nursery building," Kensington Palace captioned, according to ETOnline.
The school only amounts to $49 daily, which is more affordable compared to other educational institutions near Kensington Palace that may even reach up to $22,000 annually, according to US Weekly. The school is located in a former chapel and a offers a Montessori type of teaching. Prince George will only have 28 classmates since the nursery only accepts 29 students per school year.
Prince William recently admitted in an interview with Ant and Dec for a documentary about the Prince's Trust that being a father to Prince George and Princess Charlotte made him "more emotional" and that fatherhood made him realize "how precious life is," which was previously covered by HNGN.
