Jennifer Lopez took to Twitter to dispel rumors that she had plastic surgery. The singer was forced to defended her natural beauty after a London-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Ayham Al-Ayoubi ,tweeted a split-screen photo saying that her face shows "many signs of plastic surgery."
"These before and after pics of @JLo show many signs of #plasticsurgery - naturally pretty but now looks amazing," Ayoubi posted.
The 44-year-old "American Idol" judge quickly shot down the allegations.
"Sorry Sir, but I have never had plastic surgery of any kind #fact," she wrote.
The doctor immediately started to get criticism from Lopez's fans who accused him of being "a fake doctor,' the Daily Mail reports.
Ayoubi then tried to clear the air explaining to the "Live It Up" singer that his assistant had posted the tweets without his knowledge.
"U are naturally a very beautiful woman and look great, sometimes clever makeup can enhance features slightly changing their appearance @JLo," he tweeted.
According to the Daily Mail, this same doctor has also accused Melanie Griffith, Sharon Osbourne and Heidi Montag of having plastic surgery.
Lopez seems to have moved on from the claims. She recently graced the cover of Cosmopolitan for Latinas' Winter issue and said that early on in her career she was advised to shrink her now-famous curves. Of course she said no.
"You have to stand up and say, 'There's nothing wrong with me or my shape or who I am; you're the one with the problem!'" she said. "And when you can really believe that, all of a sudden other people start believing too."
