The 2016 Golden Globe Awards were a big night for both Lady Gaga and Leonardo DiCaprio. Gaga won a Golden Globe for her performance in the FX series "American Horror Story: Hotel" and DiCaprio took a trophy home for his role in "The Revenant," but that is not what had everyone talking.
When Gaga's name was announced for Best Actress in a limited Series or TV Movie, she made her way up towards the stage and brushed DiCaprio and apparently scared him. Caught off guard, the actor obviously jumped up in his seat, winced and then laughed in one of the most memorable moments of the night. Gaga seemed to not notice DiCaprio's reaction as she accepted her first award as an actress.
"Oh lord - that's trending, huh?" DiCaprio told Entertainment Tonight. "I just didn't know what was passing me - that's all!"
DiCaprio's win last night marked the third time the actor has taken home a Golden Globe. His most recent win came in 2014 for his performance in "The Wolf of Wall Street," according to Us Weekly.
