Bangladesh is hosting Zimbabwe for a four-match T20I series, according to bdnews24. All four games - scheduled for Jan 15, 17, 20 and 22 - will be played at Khulna.
The visitors, who recently lost ODI and T20 series against Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates, are under pressure to improve their international record.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, wants to utilize the four T20 encounters against Zimbabwe to improve their skills ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
"In terms motivation, there's no problem amongst the players. We all play at the national level and we are all motivated. But yes everyone is trying to improve their standard," allrounder Shakib Al Hasan said, according to Daily Star.
"If you look at Christiano Ronaldo or [Lionel] Messi, they have been the best footballers for the last seven to eight years. So taking a cue from there, I think our players are trying to find out how they can be better players," he added.
