Are you a George/Lynly fan? Well it looks like the golden boy could be soon surrendering to the advances of Lavon’s cousin.
During a recent interview, with TVGuide.com, Scott Porter—who plays George Tucker—explained that it’s not so much that George doesn’t want to be with Lynly. It’s more that he wants to be careful about it..
“George doesn’t want to hide it from Lavon,” Porter said during the interview. “He wants to hide the one night stand element from Lavon. Once they become more than just a one night stand, George wants to do the right thing.”
“Lynly doesn’t want her cousin to find out,” Porter continues, “and George kind of relents and allows that to kind of be the status quo for a few episodes.”
Watching the George and Lynly (Antoinette Robertson) relationship has been interesting to say the least. She’s gone from seducing him, to failing miserably, to having his thumb stuck in her dress to enjoying a nice game of trivia with him. Before the George and Lynly thing is over (and my assumption is it will be eventually) they’ll probably have a few more ups and downs.
Although Lynly is having her own love life issues, next week’s episode will be about her cousin’s love life. According to the preview for next week’s episode, “Family Tradition”, Lavon (Cress Williams) is going to meet AB’s (Kaitlyn Black) parents and, like most things in Bluebell, things are going to get awkward.
“Hart of Dixie” airs Mondays at 8/7c on The CW. Watch the entire interview with TVGuide.com here.
