All parents understand the challenge of putting the baby to sleep, but a mother from France might have just come up with a genius - but simple - solution.
French Magazine Pour Nous Femmes uploaded a video of an unidentified mother showing how it's done. She is seen carefully massaging the baby's face with light, circular touches. While the child resisted at first, she eventually started dozing off. Despite a little noise, as the mom was talking with another adult in the background while massaging her child, the baby was asleep in no time.

Since its release, the video has been watched more than 50,000 times and shared three million times on social media, indicating how much sleep-deprived parents welcome the method, according to Daily Mail. The news outlet also reported that the clip was first shared back in October, but it has been popping on Facebook's newsfeed recently.
Experts have long advised that babies need to be conditioned to sleep, but it must be done in a natural manner, according to Dr. Sears. By providing a soothing method similar to the massage the mom did in the video, the baby eventually develops a healthy attitude towards sleep.
Meanwhile, back in December, a pediatrician from Santa Monica also shared his method for calming a crying baby through a video, which went viral.
