'Jeopardy!': No Winner Declared After All Three Contestants Answered Incorrectly

During Jeopardy! on Monday night, no winner was declared after not one of the three contestants was able to answer the game show's final question. Under the category "State Capitals," Alex Trebek's "Final Jeopardy" was: "A 1957 event led to the creation of a national historic site in this city, signed into law by a president whose library is now there too," according to the Fox News.

A total of $33,600 was lost due to none of the contestants knowing the right answer, which was Little Rock, Ark.

The challenger, Randi Kristensen, was able to catch up with previous champions, Claudia Corriere and Mike Drummond when they were not able to answer correctly but Kristensen also lost for answering the final question wrong, according to People.

"We have three players finishing with no money. We have no returning champion," "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek said after no winner emerged, according to US Magazine. "We will introduce three new players. So, sorry folks!"

There have been six other times when no winner emerged at the end of the game since 1964 and this is the first time since 2013, according to the New York Daily News.
