In a promotional video for the HTC One, AT&T confirmed that the 64GB variant of the HTC One will be exclusively available through its network.
AT&T subscribers will have an option to upgrade to the 64 GB variant of the HTC Smartphone while other major carriers, including T-Mobile and Sprint, will be limited to the 32 GB variant of the phone. The Taiwanese manufacturer of smpartphones and tablets officially announced the release of its HTC One Smartphone February 2013. It had to delay the sales in the U.S. after a shortage in supplies but is likely to hit the shelves somewhere in April.
The HTC One is packed with some great features, enough to tempt users to upgrade to its latest smartphone and also attract buyers from different platforms. HTC One's specs are comparable to any Smartphone in the market currently. In the video, AT&T may have exclusive rights over the 64GB variant of the model but other carriers can continue to offer the 32GB variant of HTC One.
"HTC One lets you rethink your mobile experience with new HTC Sense enhancements including HTC Blinkfeed, HTC Zoe, Sense Voice, Sense TV, and HTC BoomSound," said the promotional video posted on YouTube.
The HTC One's latest specs include a wide 4.7-inch Super LCD touch screen, it further boasts an HD 1920 x 1080 pixels display and fast 1.7 GHz quad core Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 processor. The fully covered aluminum body with curved edges gives the phone an impressive look. It is available in two colors: Stealth Black and Glacier Silver; both will be available in AT&T stores.
Additional features such as HTC Blinkfeed will display all favorite news content in one place without having to switch screens every time. The ultrapixel camera built in the phone also has a lot to offer with its HTC Zoe feature, which offers a living gallery experience, allows capturing 20 uninterrupted pictures along with a short HD video. In addition, the music player, which has front-facing speakers and an amplifier gives a clear and surround sound effect. The Sense Voice feature auto-adjusts the call volume depending on the surroundings for better voice clarity.
HTC has not confirmed the release date or price but since it is likely to be launched in April and with AT&T offering one of the variants exclusively, it may cost around $199 with a two year contract, which is normally AT&T's price for leading smartphones. HTC will be in competition against Samsung as it is likely to release its SIV just around the same time.
