Aussie allrounder Glenn Maxwell will miss the Adelaide T20 due to an injury. He will return to the squad for second T20, which will be played on Jan. 29.
"He has still got a little slight hamstring niggle so ...he will spend a few days in Melbourne at home and join the squad when we get there in a couple of days," acting coach Michael Di Venuto said, according to DNA India.
India also suffered a massive setback ahead of series as Ajinkya Rahane and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are likely to miss the T20 series due to injuries, according to Cricket.com.au.
