The first season of “The Following” ended quite gruesomely as Ryan Hardy’s crazy ex-girlfriend stabbed his girlfriend at the time. Unfortunately for all you Claire (Natalie Zea) fans out there,the future doesn’t look good.
It was reported earlier this year Ryan Hardy is getting a new love interest named Lily Gray (Connie Nielsen).
According to Kevin Bacon, his character will be drawn to Gray.
"There's a crime, a really scary attack on a subway, and she's a victim," Bacon said according to TVGuide.com. "I meet her... and I am just taken by her."
"She's worldly, has an appreciation of art, is just kind of this dynamic creature," Bacon adds. "I'm not out looking for love, but something about her just draws me in. She is, in a lot of ways, similar to the way I feel about Joe." TVGuide.com reports Natalie Zea's status on the show isn't set in stone but things still appear bleak.
Speaking of Joe, Ryan is going to get some information about him from an unlikely source.
According to EOnline, Ryan will begin to attend Alcoholics Anonymous as he tries to turn his life around in Season 2. While at a meeting he reunites with someone who claims to know where Carroll is and the person isn’t exactly a friend. To get the information, Ryan is going to have to give this person something that may not be pleasant.
