Grand Theft Auto V despite its record breaking sales earned quite a bad name with several technical glitches in its online version. Rockstar, the game developer has come up with the first ever expansion pack (1.06) for GTA Online that will be released next week.
The update or rather the Beach Bum expansion for the game brings in a lot of exciting features like-new jobs, vehicle options, character customizations and weapons. The speedy update for the game is slated for a Nov. 19 launch.
The new jobs list poses trivial challenges to the gamers in the form of beach-themed Races, Death-matches, Parachuting, Last Team Standing, Survivals, and Gang Attacks. Some of the most thrilling jobs are "Grass Route II"(Race), "Survival of Del PeRRO Pier"(Survival),"View Of Vespucci"(parachuting), Paleto Beach(team death-match) and Sundae Driving(bike racing),reveals the official blog.
The update brings a whole new set of vehicles like BF Bifta dune buggy, the Canis Kalahari off-road truck, the Bravado Paradise beach camper van, and the Speeder speedboat for the gamers. Most interestingly, the gamers don't have to earn them and they will be made available with all the three characters of the game- Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. The land- based vehicles will be accessible from the southernsanandreassuperautos.com website, while the Speeder can be purchased via docktease.com on the in-game phone.
The first ever expansion of GTA Online empowers the gamers with more weapons that include SNS Pistol and the Broken Bottle melee weapon. Both the weapons will come free of cost and will be added to the inventories in Story Mode.
The new character customizations set in a perfect beach mood for the gamers with elements like board shorts, neon surfer attire, tribal tattoos, and shaggy hair.
According to the game developer, this is one of the first updates to be offered on GTA 5 Online. Rockstar is working on other features new Capture the Flag mode, and Story Mode that will be made available soon with the next update for the game, reports Gamespot.
