Sony has decided to add to the hype surrounding the release of PlayStation 4, now Destiny Beta is open for pre-order alongside other new titles.
With all the excitement swirling around about the launch of PlayStation 4, Sony threw in some great titles to notch up the level of anticipation. The partnership between Bungie and Activision, the game creators of "Halo" and "Call of Duty" respectively, has resulted in the making of Destiny. The game is about the heroes' battle against the alien forces from the moon attacking the last city on Earth.
PlayStation blog's DeeJ announced Thursday, that the Destiny Beta will start shipping early next year for those who preordered the game. The beta version of the game is available for pre-order online through Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, and Wal-Mart for $59.99.
The PS4 launch event also revealed the launch date for other game titles including "Infamous: Second Son," which is set to hit the stores March 21, 2014. This is one of the most anticipated games after a glimpse of the game was shown at the Sony E3 press conference.
The event broke the ice about the much-rumored addition in the "Uncharted" series. Naughty Dog officially confirmed a new entry in the popular game series with a mysterious trailer. It is not clear if the new game is a sequel or a prequel of the game series, but as long as our instincts go, it should be a prequel. Yet, a lot is to come so we may rather hold our thoughts at the moment. If you are good with puzzles then try finding some clues in the trailer, as the game developer said it may lead to all the answers.
Another trailer from Naughty Dog was about its popular "The Last Of Us," suggesting yet another amazing title making its way to PS4 soon. Other details including the release dates for both the titles are yet to be announced.
Also, worth mentioning title is the PS3 and PS4-exclusive Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zero. This game brings the classic Snake from the PS1 time. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements that are yet to come. It is definitely getting better.
