Channing Tatum Talks Beyoncé On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ (VIDEO)

Channing Tatum stunned his wife and the entire audience at Spike's hit show "Lip Sync Battle" when Beyoncé herself showed up and helped the actor perform one of her hit songs. The actor appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday and opened up to the host about how he managed to get one of the biggest acts in music on the show.

"I had never met her before. I won't even tell you what I had to do to essentially get her assistant's phone number...I was texting her. I didn't even have the intention of her coming," Tatum recalled.

For his performance on "Lip Sync Battle," Tatum dressed up in drag to perform Beyoncé's hit song "Run the World (Girls)" to recreate her look from the music video. "Ultimately I ended up having to meet Beyoncé doing Beyoncé, and that was definitely the most terrifying thing I've ever done," he said.

The actor then compared Queen Bee to Keyser Söze, Kevin Spacey's character from the 1995 movie "The Usual Suspects."

"You know she exists, but you never see her until all the sudden, you're like, It happened, wait, that was her, right? And then you always know she's somewhere in the world [and] can reach out and touch you," he said.

Beyoncé did not stick around for a long time after her performance with Tatum, but the pop diva did later send him a sweet massage.

"She did text afterwards and she was like, "Hey, I would love to meet you guys and hang out when you're not looking like me and so terrifying,'" Tatum told DeGeneres.
