Metal Gear Solid 5 Trailer" Konami Unveils PlayStation Exclusive 'Deja Vu' Mission Trailer Featuring Playable 'Classic Snake'

"Metal Gear Solid" is one of the games fans of Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4 have been excited for ever since its reveal at this year's E3 2013 gaming conference. Now the Konami, the developer behind the series, has announced exclusive PlayStation content for the new game.

According to IGN, Sony's All Access Stream on Thursday, a new trailer for "Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes" confirmed that a mission titled Déjà vu will be exclusive to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

The mission will allow players to play as "Classic Snake," a polygonal version of the character wearing his suit from the original Metal Gear Solid game for PlayStation 1.

"Retracing 16 years of history, the PlayStation-Exclusive "Déjà Vu" mission brings players back to the 1998 PlayStation classic Metal Gear Solid. In an age when graphics were limited to blocky pixelated polygons, Metal Gear Solid set new standards in videogame storytelling with its memorable characters, cinematic presentation, and complex story. Relive the most memorable moments of the past with this Sony-exclusive mission on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Past and present collide as the characters and camera angles you remember from the 16-year old classic are brought to life the high-fidelity world of MGS:GZ!" wrote Konami describing the mission on its official website.

The new content confirms several teases from earlier this week that Ground Zeroes will have exclusive content on PS4. Ground Zeroes is the prologue to the fifth installment of the franchise "The Phantom Pain" and will launch in the Spring of 2014 on both older and newer generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles for $19.99 on current-gen and $29.99 on next-gen.
