Scotland Vs. USA Live Stream: International Friendly 2013 (WATCH)

Scotland plays USA on Friday in an international friendly. The game starts at 3:05 p.m. ET. Live stream information provided below.

Team USA sits at No. 13 in the FIFA rankings. With a spot already clinched in Rio next year, USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann plans to use the next two friendlies as a means to further evaluate which players make the trip to Brazil.

"In general, we want to use these two friendlies to see a lot about our players," Klinsmann told the team's official website. "The main goal is to do well and beat both Scotland and Austria, but also to reconnect with certain players to see where they're at."

Klinnsman plans to use his top group on Friday to see how they perform. He stressed that past accolades don't guarantee a player a spot on the roster, and he wants to see everyone playing to "prove a point."

There's no question the USA team has improved. The club enjoyed a 12-game winning streak and has 16 wins so far in 2013, according to the official website. The men's national team is becoming more consistent in its play, as evident by its Gold Cup win over the summer.

"I think we are developing - and still in the middle of it - a very competitive environment. The players of the last two-and-a-half years have learned a lot in order to push themselves," said Klinsmann. "... We made it clear it's all about competition, it's all about performance."

Scotland, ranked No. 35 in the world, failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup. With their next major competition, the Euro 2016 qualifiers, a year away, Scotland is looking to continue to improve with experience.
