Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul made television magic in their famous aggressively popular drama "Breaking Bad." Now the two stars are together on screen again, this time to be wow'ed by another kind of magic - that of the famous David Blaine.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Blaine posted a video to promote his upcoming 90-minute special "David Blaine: Real or Magic" in which he pulls a card trick on the two actors that involves two shuffled decks and a $100 dollar bill.
Paul takes one deck of cards and shuffles it into one deck, with a little encouragement by former Walter White star Cranston jokingly telling him "Come on, Aaron, with a good shuffle, you can do it."
Once the deck is shuffled Blaine instructs Paul to fan the deck out across the table. Blaine then stares at the result and pretends to lament that the trick didn't work as planned saying that he probably should have shuffled the deck himself. After a few seconds of misdirection, he asks Cranston to pull a signed $100 out of his pocket that Cranston insists Blaine had never seen before the video started. He instructs Cranston to read the serial number on the bill. What happens next is exactly what you'd expect. Paul and Cranston quickly realize the order of the freshly shuffled deck corresponds perfectly with the serial numbers Cranston lists off.
"I shuffled that!" Paul says stunned by the results of the trick. Cranston too can't seem to stop chuckling at what he's just seen. The video is only three minutes long but the full 90 minute special "David Blaine: Real or Magic" premieres Tuesday Nov. 19 at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.
