Sony Rolls Out Day One Patch For PS 4: EA Claims It is Full of Bugs

EA, the California-based game developer accused Sony of rolling out a bug-riddled first patch update for the PS4, but later withdrew the statement .

Sony rolled out the first patch for PS4 Friday, which would add many additional perks like Remote Play with PlayStation Vita; online multiplayer; party chat and the ability to play games while the games are getting downloaded. But EA alleged the recent update is faulty and has crashed many PS 4 consoles.

"All games on the PS4, including EA titles, causing crashing/freezing and non-responsive connections between the player's console and their TV Screen," said EA, reports techienews. "Sony is working to resolve the issue as quickly as they can. They will update their System Update page as new versions are made available, and we will keep this page updated as we find out more."

After some time EA withdrew its statement saying the message was posted in error. "The message on EA's Help site was posted in error. Players with questions about PS4 connectivity can visit PlayStation support," reads the EA official page where the initial statement was posted.

Sony , on its part, did not respond to the posts. The Japanese conglomerate has not issued any statement as of now.
