New England Patriots Vs. Carolina Panthers Live Radio Broadcast: NFL Monday Night Football (LISTEN)

The New England Patriots visit the Carolina Panthers for NFL Monday Night Football. Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m. ET. Live radio broadcast and live stream links are available below.

Carolina (6-3) sit in second place in the NFC South. A large part of their winning record is due to quarterback Cam Newton, who's accounted for 17 touchdowns. Newton, now in his third year, has shown maturity in the way he manages the game - Carolina ranks first in time of possession with 33:48 per game, according to ESPN.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick acknowledged Newton's ability on the field.

"He's playing very efficiently. He does a good job," Belichick said, via ESPN. "He's obviously a threat with the ball in his hands to run. He can make all the throws. He can put the ball on the sideline."

But Belichick also said the Patriots' defense knows what to expect from quarterbacks like Newton.

"I think that a lot of the plays that Carolina runs we've seen from Buffalo and the Jets," said Belichick. "The fact that we have seen some of those plays, we've worked on the basic blocking schemes and how to fit on them, where everybody needs to be."

On the other side of the ball, Carolina's defense is tasked with trying to slow down future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady. Although Brady's numbers are down because of a depleted receiving corps, he's still looked like vintage Brady with his ability to drive the offense down the field.

"Tom Brady is a very cerebral guy, he's been around a while, he knows where he's going with the ball, he's smart, he understands defenses," said Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly. "So we've just got to do a good job of playing our job, doing our responsibilities and make sure we're in the right spot."

New England is 7-2 and sits atop the AFC East.
