'The Last of Us', a PlayStation 3 exclusive, got its much delayed and only expansion package, 'Left Behind', last week at the PS 4 launch. But wait folks that's not all, the multiplayer details of the game have also emerged following the single player expansion pack.
The first expansion pack for the 'Last of Us' PS3 game is available for pre-order online. But the more exciting fact is that Naughty Dog has come up with multiplayer details for the PS 3 title. The multiplayer DLC pack will come free of cost with the next season update on Play Station network by early 2014. For those who don't have the season pass, they can directly order the DLCs on the PS Network on release.
The multiplayer DLCS will be offered on three game bundles, namely - the Government Issue Bundle, Rally Bundle and the Bygones bundle. Every DLC bundle carries additional perks in the form of Nightmare Mask, Flaming Motorcycle Helment, Rooster Hat or Battle Mask. These perks need to be brought individually and the prices may vary, reports IGN.
The Government Issue Bundle will release tonight for $8.99 while the next two bundles await a release in December (Dec. 3& 17) respectively, both retailing at the same price as the former.
The online retailer giant, Amazon, has listed a few bonus gifts available on ordering the first expansion pack of 'Last of Us' from its store, reveals a recent post on Examiner. The additional gifts include the first volume of 'Last of Us: American Dreams', a comic book based on the game written by Neil Druckmann, the creative director of 'Last of Us'. The comic strip is primarily based on two characters from 'Left Behind', Ellie and Riley. The second gift will be a dynamic theme on the expansion for the buyers.
The 'Left Behind' would individually cost $14.99. However, the players may grab themselves the next season pass for $19.99, which will get them both the single and the multiplayer DLCs at one shot.
