AT&T has partnered with NETGEAR to introduce a new device called AT&T Unite Pro that offers internet on the go via carrier's 4G LTE network. The device supports up to 15 devices and acts as a portable charger.
AT&T, one of the leading American carriers, has joined hands with popular network device making company NETGEAR to offer its customers a better way to enjoy high-speed internet connection while on-the-go. AT&T Unite Pro is a new device that lets you connect up to 15 devices to the internet via the carrier's 4G LTE network and acts as a portable charger for your phone.
The device comes in time for the holiday season where most Americans will be heading out for a long vacation with family and friends. Since some users depend on a home network, the new mobile hotspot will fill the void while they are away.
"AT&T is proud to continue to add to its industry leading portfolio of devices with the AT&T Unite Pro," Jeff Bradley, senior vice president - Devices, AT&T, said in a press release. "With the ability to connect up to 15 devices, Dual-band Wi-Fi and up to 16 hours of use on one charge, the AT&T Unite Pro is the perfect choice for customers who want to stay connected."
Besides the 4G LTE connectivity, the AT&T Unite Pro features a 2.4-inch touchscreen panel with which users can access and change the device's settings, such as its wireless name, password, and also monitor data usage. The device supports dual-band WiFi as well as LTE Advanced (LTE-A) networks and ups the ante by connecting up to 15 devices.
The AT&T Unite Pro can also act as an emergency portable charger for your mobile device. The Unite Pro goes on sale Friday, November 22, for $49.99 with a two-year contract.
