Hangover Cures From All Over The World

Oh, the hangover. You've got a pulsing head, a queazy and unsettled stomach, maybe a little dizziness, and definitely some dehydration and fatigue. After you revive yourself to at least zombie status with a big glass of water, the question becomes, "What can I think about eating without wanting to die? What food will save me from this devastation? How can I undo what I've done?"

Take a cue from one of these eight countries' classic hangover cures. A Bloody Mary is a good place to start, but if you're hungry, chow down on one of these foods. Our list is compiled with information from Buzzfeed, Lonely Planet and Skyscanner. Many of these foods are greasy, which is thought to absorb the alcohol sloshing around inside you, and some are acidic or briny to give you back some of the electrolytes you've lost.

Though none of these are particularly easy to throw together while you're hungover (except the bacon sandwich, good job England!), try cooking one of these dishes before going out so that you have it ready for the next morning. Tomorrow-morning-you will thank you.
