The "Gilmore Girls" revival is a reality, and now we have photographic proof. Yanic Truesdale, who plays Michel Gerard, snapped the first on-set photo with co-star Lauren Graham during a scene set at the Dragonfly Inn.
"First day back at the inn with my old boss. Fun times! #GilmoreGirlsRevival #WarnerBros," Truesdale tweeted late Friday night.
Lorelai (Graham) opened the Dragonfly Inn at the end of season four in the original run of "Gilmore Girls" with Michel and Sookie (Melissa McCarthy). Whether McCarthy returns is still up in the air. The TV-movie actress tweeted last week that she wasn't invited back for the revival, but creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said that an invite had gone out to McCarthy via her team.
One person who is officially returning is Liza Weil, who will reprise her role as Rory's (Alexis Bledel) best friend Paris Geller, according to TVLine. The "How to Get Away with Murder" star will figure into at least two of the four 90-minute episodes set to release on Netflix later this year.
"Paris is a hoot," Kelly Bishop, who plays Emily Gilmore, told TVLine about her co-star's part in the revival. "It's unbelievable what Amy has written for Paris. People are going to have so much fun with it."
So far, the original stars confirmed to return are Graham, Bledel, Bishop, Scott Patterson, Sean Gunn, Keiko Agena, Matt Czuchry and Truesdale.
