The Memphis Tigers play the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Tuesday in a matchup of nationally-ranked college basketball teams. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. ET. Live radio broadcast and live stream links are provided below.
No. 11 Memphis visits Gallagher-Iba Arena to face No. 7 Oklahoma State. The Tigers (1-0) look for their second win of the season after a 95-69 win against Austin Peay. Senior guard Joe Jackson led the Tigers with 16 points and seven assists, and guard Geron Johnson led the rebounding efforts with 10 boards.
Memphis will likely look to disrupt Oklahoma State with a full-court press, which helped the Tigers force 22 turnovers and nab 15 steals against Austin Peay.
"All over the floor, looking like maniacs," Johnson said, via ESPN. "That's literally what (the press) does. It causes havoc for the other team. That havoc causes the other team to be undisciplined and make passes they usually wouldn't."
The Tigers see their first road game of the season as an opportunity to gauge where the team stands.
"We're excited for that opportunity and challenge because when we play in the American on the road, this game will help us for the long haul," Memphis coach John Pastner said. "We know how good Oklahoma State is, how good their players are, their talent, Travis Ford is a tremendous coach and we know we're going to have to play our 'A' game."
Oklahoma State (3-0) has displayed the talent of their roster with three straight wins. Sophomore guard Phil Forte leads the team in scoring with an average of 21 points per game.
"Memphis is one of the most talented teams in the country," Ford said. "They're a very deep, athletic team, and a lot of people say they may have the best backcourt in the country, and they very well might.
"We'll see. They're very good."
